The first time I met Ian Kemp in the sparkling blue waters of St. Thomas, I was six years old and we shared a summer beneath the stars.
The second time I met Ian Kemp, he was a shell of the boy I once knew. Turbulent and infuriating, he refused my friendship at every turn. Like me, he was a casualty of life’s cruelty, but we were planets apart.
We’d both sought refuge on the island, hoping to find our anchor. Instead, we found each other and managed to reclaim our stars...until we both got swept away.
I was kindley given an ARC copy of Someone Else’s Ocean and WOW! It’s actually the first book I’ve read by Kate Stewart. Kate’s book Drive has been on my TBR list for a while now.
First off there will be no spoilers here. I absolutely loved this book. The cover of this book is stunning. Someone Else’s Ocean takes place in St. Thomas and when you think of St. Thomas you’re immediately brought there. I loved Ian and Koti’s connection. The nickname Ian gave Koti is so stinking cute. Kate’s writing style was perfect and the story flowed nicely. I loved the graphic colors for each chapter (Blue is my favorite color). This book is told by Koti’s point of view and Ian’s point of view. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves a second chance romance type book with a happy ending.

USA Today bestselling author Tawna Fenske’s outrageous romantic comedy about love and lies between perfect strangers…
If someone had told Noah Donovan he was going to be stuck in an elevator with a very beautiful, slightly odd bartender and her fluffy packrat, he never would have believed it. Fortunately, the quirky brunette leaves the very cuddly rodent behind. Unfortunately, she’s married.
In Lexi Allison’s job, she’s accustomed to warding off unwanted advances with a fake wedding ring. So when she meets a tatted-up hunk in an elevator, she’s quick to revert to her default tall tale. This guy certainly knows how to push her buttons, but the thing is, they’re the right buttons. Not that it makes any difference. She won’t see him again anyway.
Noah and Lexi are about to discover that fate has plans for both of them—and that their ups and downs are just beginning. Because it’s going to take two lies, three misunderstandings, a case of mistaken identity, and one very persistent rodent to prove that perfect strangers can make the perfect couple.
I was graciously giving a arc copy of this ebook for my honest review.
This is the first book by Tawna Fenske I’ve read. It’s a book about being in the wrong place at the right time. I liked Noah and Lexi. Nothing like being stuck on the elevator with a good looking man and a packrat, yes it’s actually called a wood rat. After I finished this story I had to google what it was because I’ve never heard of a wood rat before.
This was such a cute story. I wish I could have viewed this ebook at it potential. This ebook is a “kindle in motion” ebook and meant to be read on a kindle fire. But can be read on kindle apps, I just didn’t get the “in motion” part. I may just have to charge it up my kindle fire and see what that’s all about.
I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a quick face paced novella. I will definitely be looking into more Tawna Fenske books in the future. Loved her writing style and how she adds a little rom-com in a book.

I am loyal, but I will betray you. I am strong, but I have scars. I am an angel, but the devil. I met her when I was sixteen, she was a breath of fresh air. She swooped in, making me smile. But then she left, taking my next breath with her. Her smile could light up a room, making my black heart pitter patter. I found her again ten years later, with a syringe in her arm. Blood coming from her legs. She was broken and I was glad she was broken. She wouldn't think less of me and my damaged ways.
I really enjoyed this book. It kept me in suspense a good bit and many times I was on the edge of my seat. I’m not normally one for such a dark book, but this!!! Black & Rose have such chemistry! Like a moth to a flame! If you like dark, suspenseful, & romance read this book. Now. Go. Run. Read. I had quite a few mouth dropping moments.
Black is a very dark person. Scary dark. Rose is a woman with a bad past and is living a sad reality. At 90% I had to put the book down. I couldn’t take all the suspense and not enough time left in the book! I did not expect things to turn out the way they did, talk about a last minute twist! It kept me wanting more. Oh the suspense was killer.

With everything and everyone conspiring to keep them apart, Ella and Reed must find a way to beat the law, save their families, and unravel all the secrets in their Twisted Palace.
I couldn’t wait to dig into the third book in Royals series after that crazy cliffhanger in book two. The anticipation was killing me. But how in the hell do these 2 authors manage to do it AGAIN?!? Twisted Palace had me on the edge of my set once again. Like in the last few books in The Royals series. After the last two books with major cliffhangers we finally got to see what really happened. When that bomb was dropped at the ending I totally had a “YESSSS!!!” moment.
I’m so sad that Ella and Reed story ended in Twisted Palace. I really loved Ella and Reeds characters and how they played out. I will admit I totally swooned over Reed. Yeah a fictional character made me swoon book after book. I love that Ella doesn’t take shit from anyone which I loved and that reminded me a lot of myself. The chemistry between Reed and Ella was pretty damn electric.
Erin Watt please write some more on Ella and Reed. I love Easton and all but we need more on Ella & Reed and how their future turns out. *hint hint*
